How to Specify Custom Poly Bubble Mailers
Define the usable internal size, outer film, bubble profile, closure and tear strip, opacity, artwork, quantity and destination. Choose cushioning around product fragility and handling risk, then perform fit, seal, puncture and representative drop checks before bulk approval.
Buyer Questions
- When is a bubble mailer preferable to a flat poly mailer?
- Use cushioning for smaller products that need more impact protection than apparel or other soft goods normally require.
- Should bubble mailers be sized by outside dimensions?
- No. Specify usable internal dimensions because seals and bubble lining reduce the available packing space.
- How should protection be validated?
- Fit the packed item and check closure, puncture and representative drop performance using a production-equivalent sample.
